Tip from a Pro: (from in-game help)
Playing great poker is simply waiting for big hands and being
aware enough to know how to play them. Use logic before you
play the hand and not after.

Bad beats bring out your weaknesses if you are not well disciplined. Most players' weaknesses, whether mathematical or psychological, are exposed by a bad run of cards. So what are yours? Analyze them and work on them. What a great way to benefit from bad runs. By the way some player's weakness is overanalyzing.

FEEL THE PLAYERS NOT THE CARDS. Great players try to
develop a feel towards people. Fools try to develop feel toward
the cards. What you hope to catch or feel you will catch is
worthless.

The optimum of patience is to be able to wait for a good hand
without feeling that you are waiting.

Seven most popular excuses of playing weak hands in hold'em are:
1 - I was in the BIG BLIND
2 - Pot was TOO BIG
3 - I was SUITED
4 - I am playing my RUSH
5 - I had a FEELING
6 - This is my LUCKY HAND
7 - I can't win with GOOD HANDS
